Please use the “contact” page to inquire about therapy availability. Some of my basic practice policies are listed below for your convenience:

Consultation

I offer a free, 30-minute, confidential phone consultation, so that I can get a better sense of what you’re looking for and also to make sure that I am the right person to help you achieve your goals.

Affordability Concerns

If you cannot afford my fee, please let me know because I may be able to recommend other counseling resources in the area that may help you meet your needs.

Rates

This will be discussed during the initial appointment. A session is approximately 50-60 minutes long.

Insurance

I only accept CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, including their Blue Preferred PPO plans, as well as their BlueChoice HMO plans. I am out-of-network for all other insurance plans.

If you have out-of-network coverage, I can provide you with the necessary paperwork to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider. The majority of my clients receive some form of reimbursement from their insurance. Please call your insurance provider to determine your specific level of coverage.

Payment

All out-of-network payments, co-pays and co-insurance payments are due the day services are rendered.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified me at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a cancellation fee. Your insurance plan will not reimburse you for this charge.

COVID-19 Safety Policy

With regard to COVID-19 safety protocols, my practice is guided by science and compassion. All in-office sessions have been suspended until further notice, but therapy will continue via secure Telehealth platforms (i.e. video or phone).
